Police Crack Down on Gambling in Hubballi-Dharwad

Hubballi: The twin cities of Hubballi-Dharwad witnessed a major police crackdown on gambling activities during the Deepavali festival. In a series of raids carried out across the city, the police have arrested 209 individuals involved in gambling and have seized over Rs 3.21 lakh in cash and mobile phones. This brings the total number of cases registered to 37.

The police have been on the lookout for gambling activities since the beginning of the festival. They have been conducting raids on various gambling dens and have been apprehending those involved. The police have also seized cash and mobile phones from the arrested individuals.
